NZTIS New
Zealand Interpreting
Service.
NZTIS Translations New Zealand Interpreting
Service offer three different
types of interpretation service.
The
first is
Simultaneous
Interpretation. Commonly used at business conferences
or events where the speaker doesn't stop and wait for
the interpreter. This is where interpreters interpret
what is being said in real time. This form of interpreting
often requires specialist equipment. NZTIS Interpreting Service can supply this equipment and
give detailed advise on what
is required and what is not required.
The
second offered by NZTIS Interpreting
Service is
Consecutive
Interpretation. This is normally used when a speaker
is addressing a smaller audience and at less formal events.
The speaker will say something and then pause which allows
the interpreter to then repeat what has just been said
in the target language. This form of interpreting doesn't
require specialist equipment like Simultaneous Interpreting.
The
third is the NZTIS New Zealand Interpreting Service
Tour Guide
Service. Strictly speaking this will
often come under consecutive interpretation our tour guides
are not only professionals at interpreting, but have expert
knowledge of the area or regions being toured.
